Affiliate disclosure
PlayTheSweeps earns a commission when readers sign up at some of the sweepstakes platforms we cover, through tracked affiliate links and codes. This page explains exactly what that means and what it does not.
What an affiliate link changes for you
Nothing. The welcome offer is identical whether you use our code or not. Affiliate codes route a commission from the operator's marketing budget to us; they do not give you a better or worse deal.
What commissions never buy
- Placement: platforms cannot pay to appear on this site.
- Rankings: scores come from the published methodology and are never sold.
- Silence: a platform with an active affiliate deal gets the same negative findings published as any other.
Platforms with no affiliate relationship
We cover many platforms that pay us nothing, including every unlicensed fish-table app on the site. Coverage decisions follow reader demand, not commission availability.
How you can tell
Every page containing an affiliate link carries a visible disclosure box near the top of the page. We do not hide disclosures in footers.
FTC compliance
These disclosures follow the FTC's endorsement guides. Questions about this policy: editor@playthesweeps.com.
